Data Privacy and Security

Data privacy and security is our foremost concern.

Data privacy and security are not new concepts in outsourcing. When there is transfer of sensitive and confidential information, security concerns about data leakage or misuse should be taken seriously. Despite technology-driven protection devices and timely detections mechanisms, we recognize that our employees’ attitudes towards data privacy are key to addressing security concerns of our clients. As a result, we have put in place data privacy and security measures to give you the highest degree of confidence.

At a basic level, our employees access their work place with the use of swipe cards, conform to prescribed modes of data transfer and shred any sensitive information immediately after its use. In addition, we provide a high degree of access management and controls for all of our internal and client-related application technologies. We conduct detailed background checks on candidates before they are hired. All our employees are bound by confidentiality agreements and are adequately trained in data security processes.

Third party data center operations at our Level 3 hosting facility provide us with well-established and state-of-the-art systems to ensure data security. For example, Level 3’s stringent, multi-layered security control procedures assure customer equipment and data protection. This includes multiple card reader steps required to access our co-location area. This area is also video monitored 24 x 7. To ensure compliance for our clients’ data privacy and within our overall IT security measures, we also deploy a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) system. This provides you with encrypted and secure, bidirectional transfer mechanism of data streams, virtually identical to those protocols used by banking and financial institutions during the transfer of financial data.
